3G, 4G and Wimax, up here in the great white north (Greater Toronto Area) we have the ability to connect to a 256Kbs upload and 512Kbs download for a bargain price of $50 a month, mind you this is a point to point wireless system. I say bring it on to Ontario Canada!

Excellent chart, Senaka, very useful information. On the chart, if I’m doing the math right, shouldn’t the Internet Telephony total be 16% rather than 15%?

Angelica - In the U.S., at&t has an exclusive contract to sell iPhones for 5 years. So for another 4 years or so, iphones will not be sold through other cellular carriers.

I really hope that iphones can be sold through other cell carriers soon. I had my first cell phone with AT & T and they had horrible customer service. I ended up having to pay just to get them out of my life and get out of my contract. I wrote a letter to AT&T execs and never heard from them. As Dell and other business savy entities have shown, customer service is key to maintaining loyolty amongst customers.
