well since the bloggers run the internet we are too busy creating our own and who has time to spend reading pages and pages of someone elses blog when you could be doing it too. Bloggers are starting to get it that as a blogger you write people read. use images in your site and thats another way you get found.

Good Catch! so much for working late into the night. What I suggested is still correct (Just checked Alexa), but I'm showing the wrong graph. If you look at the "Page Views" (it's the third tab on the top left in the traffic graph) for engadget, gizmodo, and techcrunch, you will see that the page views are decreasing or flat-lining. I'll change the graph tonight or so. Oops on boingboing (again, late nights can do wonders)

Tthe Ranking is increasing, so that's good news for these site. It just means that reason #2 (igher ranked non-blog sites such as Yahoo.com! and Google.com are extending their lead) is not true for these tech blogs.

Other than that, the gist of the post still stands correct.

eh.

Your numbers don't add up and you are counting them reverse line by line.

engadget traffic rank yesterday = 411 from the 3 month avg = 640 and the 3 mos change is -181.

then boing boing (which isn't a tech blog) yesterday = 2414 from the 3 month avg. of 2207 and the 3 mos. change is -517.

Well the numbers don't add up and the direction of traffic delta is opposite and yet you list it as moving in the same direction.

Greg is confused.
